Encount AS is a Norway-based software development company, led by Dr. Martin Thorsen Ranang, a veteran with over 30 years of experience in the tech industry.  
Our main focus is to help our clients by solving their problems so that they are better prepared and positioned for tomorrow's challenges.

History

We started out, in the beginning of 2010, building the Market Research Online Community (MROC) platform for OnLive Research AS. In 2014 the company got its new name, Encount AS, and became a pure software development company. Since then, we have built many software solutions to help our clients. As a result, we have more than 13 years of experience building and maintaining many different kinds of software, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, mobile and Web clients for nontrivial applications, and numerous APIs; always with a strong focus on security, GDPR-requirements, and adapting to changing technologies and market requirements.
The whole time, Dr. Ranang has lead and actively participated in the design, development, maintenance, and support of software solutions for our clients.
